What Is Beachbody Coaching?

Typically when I mention the coaching opportunity to someone, I get bombarded with questions. Is this a scam? Is this a pyramid scheme? What’s in it for you? What’s in it for me? Does it work?  In this section I answer my most frequently asked questions. Have more? Let me know so that I can add them to this page!

What is Beachbody?

Beachbody is a 10 year old, $250 million + business that is based out of Santa Monica, California. Beachbody produces in home fitness programs, and supplements. If you have ever seen an infomercial for Power 90, P90X, Insanity, T25 or Brazil Butt Lift, you are looking at Beachbody products. Beachbody’s mission statement is “To help people achieve their goals and lead a healthy, more fulfilling life”. The way in which Beachbody does this is through their in home fitness solutions

How did the coaching opportunity come about?

After the success with Power 90’s infomercials, Beachbody began getting calls flooding in about its success. This was before the days of YouTube and people wanted to know, “Hey, I have been recommending your product to EVERYONE! Do you have any sort of referral program?” The coaching opportunity was then born. Beachbody was doing fine without the coach network; however, it only made sense after seeing what was already taking place out there in the “real world” with these products.

What if I’m not at my goal body?

Excellent! People relate to others who are going through similar struggles, people who are real and making real progress right in front of their eyes. The biggest mistake someone could do with this business is waiting until their body is “perfect” to be a coach. You are not signing on to become some guru, you are a normal person helping others through a similar journey that you yourself have been on, and are still on. Let’s get real: the journey never ends! So if you are not at your goal weight, that’s awesome, welcomed, and should not hold you back. For many, the coaching is the perfect opportunity to become even more accountable to themselves and their goals.

How does this coaching thing work?

This coaching opportunity is not geared towards those who love selling, product pushing, and hitting quotas; although those people can also succeed in this business, it generally isn’t the kind of atmosphere that we like to breed. Then you turn into “that friend”. The one people cringe when you walk into a room because they know you are going to start product pushing any chance you get. Ew.

Instead, Beachbody coaching is about sharing your story. Think of it like making a movie recommendation, only now you are recommending various programs that you yourself have used to find success. Unlike recommending a movie, when you recommend a program and the individual buys through your personalized link, you receive credit! It’s that simple. Instead of buying off of a late night infomercial or through Beachbody.com, friends and family buy off of you and you earn a 25% commission off of the price (you also receive a 25% discount on ALL products, including Shakeology).

With Beachbody coaching you get paid weekly commissions when people buy Beachbody products and Team Beachbody Club memberships through your personal website. You can also earn cash bonuses based on your team’s sales. Let me tell you, as you start building your team, and helping them grow and share you start making a really nice commission by HELPING others. And EVERY single pay check is a direct reflection of lives you’ve helped!

How much is it to sign up? Do I have to buy some ridiculous starter pack for like $800?

NO! If you did, my ass would have never joined! It is $39.95 to sign up as a coach and that includes no inventory, no quotas, no weekly meetings that you must attend, etc. The $39.95 may be waived if you purchase a challenge pack, which is simply a program of your choice and a 30 day supply of Shakeology. This would be for personal use, not distribution. Coaching fees are $15.95/month and that pays for your back office, your website, and so you don’t have to hold inventory and some of the other nonsense other companies have you do to remain active. $15.95 for an opportunity such as this is a small price to pay, believe me on this one.

Is this one of those things where I sign up and then am on my own?

NO WAY! As your coach I do not leave you hanging. We will get on a call within the first 72 hours, talk about your goals and why you are doing this (because everyone is different) and then I will set you up on a learning plan. From there, I always offer trainings for my team and being part of The Bombshell Dynasty, and under the #1 coach in the company, we are privy to many other trainings as well used to build our business.

My Beachbody family is exactly that, a family. We work together and focus on our goals, and in the end everyone benefits. Once you become a Beachbody Coach, you’ll be part of a whole network of successful Coaches who are there for you to learn from and share with. You’ll also get full access to your online office, which has everything you need to market and manage your business with ease—including your own sales website and email account, a full set of sales and marketing tools, and extensive training guides and videos. In addition, our Coach Relations team is available to answer your questions via email or over the phone. And you’ll have a Coach of your own for extra motivation and guidance.

What if I just want the discount right now and want to coach later? Can I do that?

YES! When I originally signed up it was just so I could get my Shakeology for 25% cheaper than the retail price, and then as I started actively helping others I fell in love with the business and the rest is history! All of the same prices apply regardless if you are a “discount coach” or an “active coach”.

So what if I sign up for this thing, and it isn’t for me?

No problem. Everything in life isn’t for everybody! All you do to cancel is fill out a form and send it in. That’s it. There are no cancellation fees, no one breathing down your neck, etc. If you try this out and decide it isn’t to you, we have a conversation so you let me know (don’t leave me hangin’!) and I’ll help you with the process of terminating the account –though I’m pretty sure once you get started you won’t want to stop, but hey! If it happens, it’s easy.

What other cool things do Beachbody coaches get?

TRIPS! Ah! If you love to travel and have a blast, like me, you are going to find traveling reach a whole new level of awesome when you are with Beachbody. We have our annual Summit in June in Las Vegas every year which is a blast and a half, Success Club trips to tropical locations once per year, and then our teams also do get togethers that can be as simple as bowling, to as extensive as a weekend cabin rental! We are a family – the most positive and fun one you are going to find and our trips let that all come out!

In addition, Beachbody spoils their coaches with freebies almost every month for reaching success club. Not only do you receive free leads and commissions, but also free goodies from the corporate office like personal development books, blankets, fitness equipment, etc.
