Roasted Asparagus with Almonds
I have never been an Asparagus fan. I have never been a fan of the after-effects of Asparagus -- however, the vegetable itself has grown on me (but not the after effects!) Either way, here is a delightful spin on something that usually tastes pretty bland! Enjoy!
(Makes 1 Serving)
8 medium asparagus spears, ends trimmed
1 tsp olive oil
1 pinch sea salt
1 tsp slivered almonds (mm!)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
2. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt
3. Bake for 25 minutes, or until tender-crisp. Remove from oven
4. Sprinkle with almonds
