Insanity Max30 Cardio Challenge Review

When I received my Insanity Max30 kit in my hotel room, I was bursting at the seems with excitement. I think I did sort of an awkward walk/run combo as I was leaving training class. The moment I got into my room, I popped in Disc 1: Cardio Challenge.

Cardio Challenge serves as your fit test for the Insanity Max30. It doesn't gradually introduce you to the program - it throws you right in (and I like that).  Cardio Challenge lived up to its name, raised the heart rate, made you work, but at the same time it made you excited for what was to come in the following days and workouts. It really works your abs from all angles without having you get on the floor for mindless crunches. It's one of those workouts where you think to yourself, "There is no way in hell that if I stick to this program I will NOT see results". I think it would be impossible.

One of the best parts about Cardio Challenge is the modifier. As a certified Insanity instructor, I always check out the modifier on the programs. I have individuals attending my class of all age and fitness levels, and I am always looking at ways to help them outside of class - or give them a program to do on days that we don't have class. So for me, monitoring the modifier for this program was key.

There are two words that I would use to describe the modifier in this program: Awesome & Appropriate.

Modifications were fantastic for the exercises being done, and really took it to a level where I think many people would be very comfortable completing the exercises. I would not have any hesitations on recommending this program to anyone at all.

Overall, Cardio Challenge is awesome. I really didn't find any negatives about the exercises or how the program was laid out. It was fun, it felt like I really worked, and before I knew it, it was over.
